Tiit Mathieson had his under – and postgraduate training at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm Sweden, where he was appointe adjunct professor of neurosurgery in 2007. His clinical specialization is meningiomas, cranial base, vascular and intraventricular surgery, for which he has received numerous national- and international referrals. He is also the editor in chief for Acta Neurochirurgica and has published extensively on his own research on meningiomas, cranial base surgery and vascular.
